About Isha Ife

Isha ife is the first African arm or section of the International Students of History Association which has its headquarters in Germany,  a Non governmental Organization with the aim of connecting history students and other related disciplines all over the world through interesting programs and conferences.

As the pionner section in Africa, we sought to promote African history to the international world, relate with other students of history and other related disciplines on a global scale while learning history in an educative , fun and interesting way.
Our aims and objectives is to break the popular myth about history being boring by making history learning interesting for our members, and providing  a platform whereby they could gain historical knowledge and experience  through programs like conferences, seminars, discussions, history themed games, quizes, get togethers and trips at free or discounted rates.

Isha ife local section has its headquarters in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state, Nigeria, However we hope to spread to the other universities and colledges in the Ile-Ife axis.
At Isha Ife, we have four general departments namely :Academics, Socials, Media and Research (learn more about them here)  in which members can join, learn skills, and contribute their quota to the association, we also have a platform for our members to showcase their history  writing skills through our blog and facebook page.

You can see our executives arm and profiles here

We hope that soon, we will be able to send delegates to the isha international conferences.
